The recommended treatment time is 10 minutes.
How long does a Bruder® mask last?
If using the mask daily, we recommend considering replacement after 6 months.
Does the mask need to be washed after every use?
No, we recommend washing if your compress becomes soiled.
Can I wash it? How do I wash it? What kind of soap/detergent is best for washing it?
Yes, hand wash only in cold water with a mild detergent.
Can I wash it in the washing machine and dry it in the dryer?
Hand washing and air drying are recommended over machine washing and machine drying.
Can I use a Sinus Mask to treat Dry Eye?
Yes, the Bruder Sinus/Allergy compress is also an effective mask to use to treat eye conditions like dry eye and blepharitis.
Can I sleep with the mask?
Yes, the moist heat will cool to a safe level after 15 minutes and is safe to sleep in if desired.
Can I put my Bruder® eye mask on a paper plate or directly on the microwave glass tray when I heat it?
We recommend using a clean microwave safe dinner plate rather than a paper plate. We do not recommend placing directly on the glass tray in the microwave.
Can I leave my contact lens on while using the Bruder® eye mask?
Eye care professionals recommend removal.
