The Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress Contains Patented MediBeads®
MediBeads® are silver-infused. Incorporating silver into the bead
structure ensures pure, clean, moist heat with every use, helping to
repel bacteria and keep eyelids clean. The compress also effectively
withstands the rigors of daily use and regular cleaning — the beads
will not break down or lose efficacy like other compresses that contain
silica gel beads, gel, or grains.
Only MediBeads® absorb moisture into the center of the bead,
resulting in even, extended moist heat. In other compresses, moisture
sits on the surface, where it quickly evaporates, causing dry, uneven
heat and dangerous hot spots.
Unlike “one-size fits all” eye compress models. that do not truly fit anyone, the Bruder Mask has been designed with two-pods to provide superior comfort and fit.

Makes a Difference
Studies have proven that meibomian secretions melt at 32 – 45°C (89.6 – 113°F). It takes up to 8 minutes for heat to fully penetrate the tarsal plates and reach 40°C at the inner eyelid. The Bruder Compress
effectively achieves this target by providing moist, uniform heat that maintains extended warmth for the entire 8 – 10 minute treatment.
Tear Film Break-up Time
Findings of greater tear film stability and increased tear film lipid layer thickness in patients with MGD following warm compress treatment have been well supported by studies. Furthermore, a 2018 study by
the School of Optometry and Vision Science, UNSW Sydney, Australia shows improvements in tear break up time (NIKBU), Tear Meniscus height (TMH) and Tear film lipid layer thickness (TFLLT), specifically
